The First 8 Weeks

Vaccines

  • Puppy Culture

  • Introduction to multiple noises/sounds/textures

  • Introduction to bathing, grooming, and nail trimming

  • Temperament testing

  • Beginning of potty training

  • Socialization with other dogs (Old, young, middle aged, and other breeds)

  • Socialization with people (children of all ages, special needs individuals, adults, and seniors)

  • Initial Vet Exam and Vaccines

  • Deworming every two weeks: 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks

What to Expect with Your Puppy at Time of Pick Up:

  • 1 quart size bag of the food

  • Vet documentation from 6&8 week exams

  • Deworming schedule/dates (2, 4, 6, & 8 Weeks Old)

  • AKC registration

  • Home Base Shepherd Contract
